Electrosurgical Electrodes for Precision RF Surgery

High performance monopolar electrodes engineered for consistent RF cutting and coagulation. Available with RF-NonStick coating to reduce tissue adhesion and improve procedural efficiency.

Electrosurgical Electrode Product Categories

RF Kinetics offers a focused range of monopolar electrosurgical electrodes organized into three primary product categories. Stainless steel electrodes are available in standard blade, ball, and needle geometries, with select configurations offered with RF NonStick coating. Tungsten needle electrodes are offered as a specialized option for applications requiring enhanced stiffness and durability. Return electrodes are also available as part of a complete monopolar electrosurgical system.

Stainless Steel Electrodes

Stainless steel monopolar electrodes are offered in standard blade, ball, and needle geometries for RF cutting and coagulation. These electrode designs represent widely used forms across electrosurgical applications and are intended to provide reliable energy delivery and consistent performance.

Select stainless steel configurations are available with RF-NonStick coating, developed to reduce tissue adhesion and maintain surface stability during RF activation. This coating option supports smoother tissue interaction while preserving the familiar geometry and handling characteristics of conventional stainless steel electrodes. Competitive pricing enables cost-effective adoption without compromising performance.

RF-NonStick Coating Technology

RF NonStick is a proprietary electrode surface coating developed to reduce tissue adhesion during RF activation. The coating is engineered to maintain surface stability under thermal and electrical stress, supporting cleaner activation cycles and more consistent electrode performance over the course of a procedure.

RF NonStick is offered on select stainless steel electrode geometries and is intended to preserve familiar electrode handling while improving surface behavior during use.

Tungsten Needle Electrodes

Tungsten needle electrodes are offered as a specialized option for applications requiring very fine tip geometry and high dimensional stability. Due to its high hardness and stiffness, tungsten is well suited for delicate surgical work where precise energy delivery and resistance to deformation are critical.

These properties make tungsten needle electrodes particularly appropriate for fine surgical procedures, including ophthalmic applications, where consistent tip geometry and control are required. Tungsten needle electrodes are provided as uncoated configurations for users who require the material characteristics of tungsten rather than surface-coated stainless steel.

Return Electrodes (Ground Pads)

Return electrodes are available for use in monopolar electrosurgical systems to safely complete the electrical circuit. These components are offered as standard accessories and are intended to support proper system operation across a range of electrosurgical procedures.
